It all started on a slow summer morning, with the sound of waves gently tumbling outside my window and the smell of sea salt in the air. I was sitting on a sandy towel, sipping a sweet iced drink, when it hit me — Why isn’t there a brand that captures this feeling?

I wasn’t thinking about starting a business, honestly. I just wanted to bottle up the peace and playful spirit of beach days — the way flip-flops sound on boardwalks, how the sun dances on the ocean, how people relax, laugh, and forget time.

So I opened my notebook (with some sand stuck in the pages already) and sketched out a logo: something simple, a little wave, a smiling sun, maybe a cute seashell. I gave it a name that made me smile. One that sounded like laughter and sunshine — SUNWAVE!

At first, it was just a few designs. I posted a picture on social media of my friend wearing one of the shirts I made. People liked it. Then they asked where they could get one. So I made a few more. Then some towels. Then a beach tote. Slowly, like the tide rolling in, my beach brand was born.

I kept things light — no rush, just riding the creative waves. My kitchen became my design studio. My backyard turned into a photo shoot zone. Every new product came from something I loved: sun-faded colors, soft breathable fabrics, and little details that made people feel like they were on vacation, even on a Tuesday.

Soon, I started seeing people tag my brand while on their own beach days. Families, surfers, best friends on road trips — all wearing something I made. That was the best part: knowing I got to be part of their sunny memories.

And that’s how it happened — not with a big plan, but with a big heart. A beachy breeze of an idea, turned into something real, one salty step at a time.
